Privacy and cookie statement

Gedekt cares about your privacy. This statement explains which personal data we collect through the website gedekt.com, why we do so and what rights you have. Separate arrangements apply to the data you enter in the app (app.gedekt.com); contact us if you have questions about that.
Who we are
Gedekt is responsible for processing personal data as described in this statement. You can reach us at [email protected] or through the contact form.
What data we process
Contact form. When you fill in the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the name of your venue, the topic and your message. We use this only to answer your question and, if relevant, schedule a demo. Legal basis: taking steps towards a contract and our legitimate interest in answering questions. We keep your message for as long as needed to handle it, and no longer than two years after our last contact.
Ad measurement (Google Ads). Only if you agree through the cookie banner, Google Ads sets cookies to measure whether visitors reach the website through our ads and to improve those ads. Legal basis: your consent. If you do not agree, we set no advertising cookies; Google then only receives anonymous signals without cookies or advertising IDs.
Technical data. Our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type on every visit, to serve and secure the website. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website.

Who we share data with
We never sell your data. We only share it with service providers we need to run the website:
- Cloudflare – website hosting and security
- Web3Forms – processing and forwarding the contact form
- Google – ad measurement through Google Ads, only with consent
Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. This only happens with appropriate safeguards, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data. You can also object to processing, restrict processing, receive your data in a portable format and withdraw consent you have given. Email [email protected] to do so; we respond within one month.
Not happy with how we handle your data? You can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Security
The website is only served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we only give access to data to those who really need it.
Changes
We may update this statement when the website changes. The date at the top shows when that last happened.
